Maharishi Yagyavalkya, credited with "Yagyavalkya Transcripts" was a great visionary of "Shukl Yajurveda". He was second to none in religious and educational discourses.

Drawing inspiration from this revered saint, members of the management established Yagyavalkya Educational Society (YES) and decided to establish an engineering college to produce highly competent and versatile young intelligent technocrats.
