We have started YIT with MBA programme and four branches in Engineering named Computer Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engg., Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering. Later years we added Civil Engg. and Information Technology to keep pace with latest development in engineering sciences. In addition one of the latest branch 'Bio-Medical-Engineering' is in the pipeline.
Our extra curricular and supporting academic activities are also significant. These activities provide exposure to our students and faculty members in the areas of latest developments. We organize workshops, seminars and symposia in collaboration with well reputed organizations. We also organize extension lectures in various disciplines inviting speakers from the Indian and foreign institutions. Our sports activities are also of high quality. This gives ample advantages to our students, for their overall development including in knowledge and personality.
We continuously endeavor to grow and develop both qualitatively and quantitatively. We are the institute which is always in lime light due to its march in bringing new courses, not only relevant to present scenario in engineering and technology but also having future projections. We plan to include inter-disciplinary branches of engineering and management in our next curriculum. In our plan we have also included sequential growth of Masters' programmes in Science, Engineering and Technology. Thus we wish to exploit full potential of our engineers in modern technological growth of our society, region and the country. We are already contemplating to have collaboration with well known institutions abroad. I am sure in future, no far, we shall carve out our distinct image at national and international level.
